I am a 35 year old, single female who is partnering with several women like myself to establish a business which will help young people in general who have a pre-existing criminal record. We are passionate about the fact that these individuals are most in need of our immediate services. We understand that without it they eventually become our greatest victimizers, often having to resort to a life of crime because it is what seems most attainable and attractive to them. I read Nathan McCall's autobiography, Makes Me Wanna Holler, and was truly inspired to act, to do whatever I can to help, but I need finances to make this a reality.
I am also in the process of purchasing my first home but am interested in finding down payment assistance, etc. to make this a reality.
